This information is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) to visitors of this website and to anyone contacting Studio OBT & Partners S.r.l.

2. Data processed

  • Browsing data: IP address, device and browser information, requested resources, date and time, response codes and technical logs generated by the hosting and security infrastructure.
  • Contact data: name, email address, organisation, role, message contents and any other information voluntarily sent by email.
  • Language preference: the IT/EN choice stored locally on the user’s device.

Please do not send special-category or judicial data unless strictly necessary and expressly requested.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • delivering, securing and maintaining the website: legitimate interests of the Controller and technical necessity;
  • replying to enquiries and managing pre-contractual requests: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
  • managing professional or commercial communications and protecting legal rights: legitimate interests of the Controller;
  • complying with legal, accounting or authority obligations: compliance with a legal obligation.

Providing browsing data is necessary to use the website. Providing contact data is optional, but without it the Controller may be unable to reply.

4. Processing methods and recipients

Data is processed using appropriate organisational and technical measures by authorised personnel and, where necessary, by suppliers of hosting, IT, email, security, professional and legal services acting as processors or independent controllers. Data is not sold or disclosed for advertising purposes.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

Some technical providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers take place under an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any necessary supplementary measures.

6. Retention

  • technical and security logs: for the period set by the infrastructure provider and in any event only as long as necessary for security, diagnostics and legal obligations;
  • general enquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last relevant contact;
  • pre-contractual, contractual and administrative records: for the applicable statutory period, generally up to 10 years;
  • language preference: until deleted by the user through browser settings.

Data may be kept longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. Rights

Data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior processing. Requests may be sent to info@studioobt.it. Data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority in their country.

The website does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling. This policy may be updated following changes to the website, services or applicable law; the date shown above identifies the current version.
